Terms of Service
Last updated November 1, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you (the business using Rizzceptionist, "you") and Lewis III Enterprise, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, which operates Rizzceptionist ("we", "us"). By signing up for or using Rizzceptionist, you agree to them.
The service
Rizzceptionist is an AI receptionist that answers your business calls, answers questions using the information you give it, books appointments into your connected calendar, and sends you call summaries. Done-for-you plans (Growth and Elite) add services performed by our team, described on our pricing page.
Plans, minutes and billing
- Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Annual billing is priced at ten months (two months free).
- Free trial. Each new account gets one 14-day free trial of a self-serve plan. We need a payment card to start it, but charge nothing during the trial. The trial includes 50 minutes of calls; after that, your receptionist takes messages until the trial ends or you start your plan early. We'll email you 3 days before the trial ends. Unless you cancel before it ends, we charge the first billing period (and the setup fee, where it applies) on the day it ends, and your plan renews from then.
- Lite and Business have no setup fee. Starter, Pro and the Daynestly add-on carry a one-time $99 setup fee, waived on annual billing. Growth and Elite carry the one-time setup fee shown on our pricing page.
- Each plan includes a number of call minutes per billing month. Unused plan minutes don't roll over. Minute packs you buy are used after your plan minutes and expire 90 days after purchase. Minutes over your included amount are billed at $0.25 per minute ($0.18 on Business) at the end of the billing month, up to any monthly cap you set.
- We'll warn you by email when you reach 80% and 100% of your included minutes.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
Your responsibilities
- Give your receptionist accurate business information and keep it current.
- Follow the laws that apply to your business and your calls, including call-recording and consent laws in the states where your callers are. Every call opens with a notice that the caller is speaking with a virtual assistant and the call may be recorded; you agree not to remove or work around it.
- Don't use Rizzceptionist for unlawful, deceptive or harassing calls, robocalls, or anything that violates phone-carrier rules.
- Keep your account login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
Not for emergencies
Rizzceptionist is not an emergency service and can't contact 911 or emergency responders. Don't rely on it for medical, safety or other emergencies. If your business receives urgent calls, set up urgent-call handling and keep a way for callers to reach a person.
AI accuracy
Your receptionist works from the information you provide and may occasionally misunderstand a caller or make a mistake. Review your call summaries and bookings. It doesn't give medical, legal or financial advice.
Text messages
If you opt in to texts, our SMS Terms apply. Texting is optional; reply STOP to opt out at any time.
Your phone number
We provide a phone number for your receptionist while your account is active. If you cancel, we may release the number. Ask us before canceling if you want to keep it, and we'll help where the carrier allows.
Your data
You own your business information, call recordings, transcripts and booking data. You give us permission to use it only to run the service for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
Canceling
You can cancel any time from your billing page or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Setup fees and periods already paid aren't refunded except where the law requires.
Service availability
We work hard to keep Rizzceptionist running at all times, but the service depends on phone carriers and other providers and may sometimes be unavailable. We aren't liable for missed calls or bookings caused by outages outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we aren't liable for lost profits or indirect damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
